Lightning Arrestor

Conventional (Franklin Type) Lightning Arrestors as per IS / IEC 62305 and NBC 2016 Standards.

A Lightning Arrestor is a metal rod (copper or aluminium or other conducting materials) which are physical components, that are installed on the top of the buildings or transmission towers to protect and provide a safe path to ground the lightning strokes and thunder storms. The lightning Arrestor protects the structure from the harmful effects of Direct Lightning Strikes. It must be properly grounded by using down conductors. We offer Conventional (Franklin Type) Lightning Arrestors as per IS / IEC 62305 and NBC 2016 Standards. The Lightning Arrestors are Copper Bonded Rods with Spikes and mounting base which is of 1 Mtr and 2 Mtr Lengths.

ESE Type Lightning Arrestor as per NFC 17-102 Standards

Early Streamer Emission Type Lightning Arrestors upto 109 Mtr Radius at Level 1V Protection.

Lightning Counter

Lightning Counters are used to record the number of Lightning Strikes / Discharge Current during a Lightning Impact which flows through the Down Conductors and could be used as a reference during any Periodic Maintenance

Test Link

Considering the safety aspect, A disconnecting link is mainly used to offer a temporary break in the connection / down conductor running from Lightning Arrestor to earthing, thus allowing the testing of an earth rod whilst disconnecting from the lightning protection system.
